Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about bookings, payments, what to expect, and how to prepare for your visit at our Bankstown or Lakemba clinics.

🗓️ Bookings & Appointments

No, you don’t need a GP referral to book most of our services. You can make an appointment directly with our team.

A referral is only required if you’re using a Medicare plan, WorkCover, CTP funding.

Yes, we have both male and female therapists available. Click here to meet our team.

Yes, we provide home visits for eligible NDIS and Aged Care clients. Private home visits are also available, depending on your location and therapist availability. Please contact our admin team on 02 9793 8840 for more information.

🕓 During Your Visit

Your therapist will take the time to understand your health concerns, perform a detailed assessment, and explain what’s happening in simple language. You’ll usually receive hands-on treatment and a clear plan moving forward.

  • Physiotherapy: 30–60 minutes
  • Chiropractic: 20–30 minutes
  • Hijama: 30 minutes
  • Dietitian: 30–60 minutes

Some appointment types may vary. Our admin team can confirm at the time of booking.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows movement. If needed, your therapist will provide towels or gowns to ensure your modesty and comfort.

Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring a family member, support person, or interpreter to your appointment.

💳 Payments & Rebates

Yes. We accept all major private health funds and can process your rebate instantly through HICAPS at the clinic.

The amount you receive back depends on your level of cover. If you’re unsure, we recommend contacting your private health insurer directly. They can confirm your rebate amount before your appointment.

We don’t routinely bulk bill. While Medicare rebates may apply under an eligible GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP), we choose not to operate a bulk-billing model.

The Medicare rebate is $61.80 per session, with a small gap fee payable on the day. This approach allows us to offer quality care through longer consultations, hands-on treatment, and individualised care delivered by experts in their field.

Despite rising operational costs and limited increases in Medicare rebates, our focus remains on delivering exceptional care, meaningful outcomes, and genuine support for every client who walks through our doors.

We accept:

  • EFTPOS and all major credit/debit cards
  • HICAPS for private health claiming
  • Bank transfer (for certain funded clients)

🚗 Locations & Parking

  • Bankstown: 3 Sir Joseph Banks Street, Bankstown NSW 2200 (opposite Bankstown McDonalds).
  • Lakemba: Level 3, 71–75 Wangee Road, Lakemba NSW 2195 (inside the LMA building).

Yes.

  • Bankstown: On-site parking, street and free public parking available nearby.
  • Lakemba: On-site parking, a car park next door and free street parking. Also, during the hours of 10 am – 3 pm, there is plenty of parking available on King George Road, which is a 3-minute walk to the clinic.

Yes, both locations are wheelchair accessible.

📄 Before & After Your Appointment

  • Any referral or medical reports (if applicable)
  • Your private health or Medicare card
  • Any scans, X-rays, or relevant documents
  • If you’re an NDIS, WorkCover, or Aged Care client, please bring your claim or plan details.

We understand that things can come up. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the appointment to another client on our waiting list.

Cancellations made on the same day or missed appointments without notice may incur a $25 late notice fee.

Your therapist will give you a clear plan. This may include exercises, aftercare tips, or when to return for follow-up. We also send Physitrack programs (exercise apps) or printed guides when needed.

💬 Referrals & Recommendations

Yes, you can. Most GP referrals are general, meaning you can choose which allied health clinic you’d like to attend. We’ll gladly accept your referral if it’s valid.

Absolutely, we’d love that! When you refer a friend or family member, you’ll receive a $10 loyalty discount to use on your next visit as our thank-you. Just ask the person you referred to mention your name when they book.
